Review of 47 Ronin (1994) by Robert G — 19 May 2014
It's not terrible, but boringly cliche. Surprisingly, Keanu has very few lines considering he is the lead - most of the time he is on screen, he is silent (which could be for the best). The action is sparse and pacing is off, but the costumes and set design are grand.
It's easy to see where the money was spent. Unfortunately, they spent little on developing the story.
