This tries to go for gritty realism and a theatrical one act style format, but when you've got a roll call of stereotypical London underworld types, characters actually using the line 'you cunting spunker' as an insult and sub Guy Ricthie style reportage and flashbacks, it all feels rather flat and tired.
It may have something insightful to say about masculinity, forgiveness and ultimatley love but you have to wade through a ridiculous amount of unnecessary effing and blinding. I've never met a gangster but surely they don't swear this much do they?
