Well I liked it, but I can see why alot of people wont.

For a moive that should be sold on the strengh of its acting it was really under written. The fact that Winstone spends 90% of the film displaying gut wreching emotional pain is what makes it so impressive. John Hurt makes the most of what is a rather small part and Ian McShane is just a pleasure to watch. all in all a moive for actors and british film fams rather than movie fans.
