What is it with otherwise good films having totally rubbish endings these days? I've seen several films like that recently. There you are, sitting in the cinema thoroughly enjoying the film and then the credits start rolling and you're left sitting there going "What the fudge.
..?" This film is full of excellent actors doing a damn fine job of playing fairly interesting characters but the the end just lets it down totally. I wasn't the only one in the cinema making small noises of disbelief at the end so I'm pretty sure it's not just me.
Is it the marketing? The trailer made this seem like it might be along the lines of Sexy Beast or something by Guy Richie but it's not. Whatever the reason I'm afraid that I was disappointed by this film and that's a crying shame.
