A big let down from the writers of sexy beast. Most of it consists of Ray Winstone and his mates verbally bashing a french kid who stole Winstone's life. Chuck in some truly bizzare fantasy sequences and that's essentially it.
Most events take place in one room and the whole thing suits being made into a stage play. Those looking for violenece or a tight script should look elsewhere too. It just falls flat from the most part and isn't weel wrttien enough to effectively explore the issues that it tries to deal with.
Loads of swearing and the trailer is misleading.
