Review of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) by Gordon K — 24 Dec 2009
A distressing, chilling visual experience. The grey housing, empty trams and dark streets is about as depressing as the subjugation of the female characters by the exploitive abortionist. But the movie isn't hopeless.
It demonstrates the power of friendship like no other movie I have seen. The friendship is without regard for material conditions or social status, it is the one pure thing in this movie of the seedy and the corrupt.
