Illegal abortion in CeauÅ?escu's communist Romania. Sounds great. Cristian Mungiu's Romanian movie 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days is realistic depiction of the subject. Abortion was illegal in communist Romania and thus extremly dangerous.
Althought there aren't any direct references to the communist, it can be seen in every day life. Mungiu doesn't give any answers.
