Review of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) by Paul A — 29 Jun 2010
A tortuously uncomfortable and brutally honest film that captures the essence of a moment and lets you experience it. It does not spell out the plot, it does not explain characters or motivation, it presents a story and lets you experience it. This is not for everyone, it's fairly slow with extremely long duration takes that last until the moment it feels like there should be a cut, and then keeps you there a few more minutes.
If you're up for a challenge, I would check it out.
