Review of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) by Ailbhes. — 23 Nov 2008
The depiction of a young woman having an abortion in soviet russia is a highly unusual and intriguing theme. the acting throughout the film is very well done although I still could not connect with this film, I found it quite boring at times and I think something much more could be made out of it.
it seems any films with the "a" word in them receive very high acclaim and I am worried that people are trying to be so politically correct that they feel they must give in and give films like this so much notoriety.
over all impression is one of disappointment.
