Review of 3:10 to Yuma (2007) by Michaelp. — 11 Sep 2007
Strong acting and competent direction it may have, but from the opening sequence contrivances and absurdities mar the story (Bale's one-legged character running over rooftops is perhaps the peak there) culminating in an ending that is possibly the most implausible climactic change of heart ever seen in a Western or any buddy pic (which is what this is, except the two leads never quite convincingly connect--a fatal flaw).
Rent "The Searchers" or "High Noon" and skip this one.
