If the victims of the Devil's Rejects had to play through a "Saw" style game to survive their vicious captors, it would be along the lines of 31. Zombie's gritty landscapes and haunting soundtrack give 31 the authenticity we have come to expect from this horror master.
It's chainsaws, slasher kills, nude servants and 70's rock with the sexuality, suspense and gore that fans have come to relish. This is not Zombie's best work, but it hits all of the marks.
Bravo.
