Review of 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001) by Ian L — 18 Feb 2008
Stylishly assembled heist movie containing some promising ingredients: Elvis Week in Las Vegas, some big 50s fins and chrome, lots of large guns, a lippy kid, villains with no regard for anyone else, two villains who may or may not be the illegimate offspring of Elvis, a villain with a conscience and Courteney Cox in a little summer dress.
The blazing guns are overdone but this mix of ingredients sets the overall movie apart from the usual heist offerings.
