Review of 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001) by Mike F — 08 Jul 2008
Right off the bat you feel the director is from the music video world. His attention span is not longer than your average MTV clip, but hell, in those segments he sure knows how to keep your attention.
Flashy, John Woo-ey, but sadly in need of focus-ey. But for pure entertainment, this pic wins big in the "I'm in the mood for flashy violence". Too bad it had a side-order of sappy-broken-family-mother-falls-in-love-with-broken-man.
Very promising, makes you think the helmer is the Vegas born bastard child of Tony Scott and John McTiernan.
