Review of 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001) by Murder C — 03 Apr 2009
A gang of criminals (led by Kurt Russell & Kevin Costner) robs a casino during Elvis convention week, however things don't go as planned and the gang begins backstabbing each other. I think the best way to describe this movie would be that it is a wannabe Tarantino "True Romance"/"Reservoir Dogs" with some Elvis hairdos movie but not nearly as clever.
The main problem with the film is that it tries too hard to be cool, funny and action packed and fails at it all in the process. "3000 Miles To Graceland" could have been good, but sadly it became a total mess.
