Review of 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001) by Allan C — 06 Jan 2013
This film wants to be "True Romance" or "U Turn" in the worst way, but ends up just being a mess. However, it's something of a glorious mess that's so bad it very nearly (but not quite) becomes "Mommy Dearest" or "Plan 9 from Outer Space" so-bad-it's-good.
The wildly miscast Costner gets most of the credit for the film's ridiculousness. Two starts for the basic premiss of good-Elvis vs. bad-Elvis and for Kurt Russell singing as Elvis over the end credits.
