300: Directed by Zack Snyder who puts together a masterpiece of stunning visual art and a great cast. Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, Dominic West and David Wenham.
King Leonidas of Sparta and a force of 300 men fight an outnumbering Persian army at Thermopylae.
The casting is great, the visual effects are stunning and the quotes will go down as some of the best movie quotes in the history of filmmaking. The director was really able to find that center between gory violence and realism also finding a balance between mythology and history. It was entertaining from beginning to end.
