I suppose they were wanting to ride the coattails of the first movie. Well, they failed. The sequel was absolutely awful. It had some good ideas, but the application of the ideas seemed to fall flat. It started okay, even interesting.
But after the first 15 minutes... I can see why it went straight to DVD. And the ending? Once the scene came up, it was predictable and cheesy. I could do without it.
