Weird, weird fucking weird movie. Like top 5 weirdest movies I've ever seen. At least top 10. Bizarre. But kid of brilliant, fascinating and completely unique. Literally nothing else like it. One of my favorite Altman's.
Bergman's Persona is a definite influence as Altman himself said. The more I think about it the more it stands out. It has a feel that is its own that no other movie has. If you are into very weird and different movies see this.
Sissy Spacek and Shelley DuVall are incredible. Incredible. I recommend this very highly for open minded movie watchers. It is on Ebert's Great Movie List and he has done two seperate shot by shot analysis' on it.
He calls it a masterpiece. See it.
