Quite a trip. this might be one of altmans most amazing films. its a film based on the logic of dreams and it succeeds in the most amazing of ways. it is certainly bizarre. it doesnt make much sense on the usual narrative level, but on an emotional level this makes the most absurdly wonderful sense.
altman can do this. it penetrates the intellect as all great art does. at times, funny, creepy, and baffling, it constantly pulls you in. a miracle.
