It is indeed a clever premise, and cleverly filmed. However, there was nothing more to the film than what was written on the back cover of the DVD. If you read that, you pretty much got the entire plot.
Sure you were spared the climatic scene...oh wait, that's right there on the front of the cover. The scenes while he was in prison were well taken, but overall I think it tries too hard with too narrow a plotline.
