Review of 3-Iron (2004) by Ed Q — 01 May 2009
In Kim Ki-duk's fascinating "3-Iron", a minimalist and refined approach creates a sense of enigmatic spirituality, in which important emotions are communicated without dialogue. Despite a reliance on bursts of sadistic violence, the quiet physicality of the lead performances turns the film into a tender love story.
