I don't consider myself a lover, or even a liker, of Bollywood. This is just personal preference. Taking the elaborate (and unnecessary) songs and dances aside, there is quite a large amount of heart at the core of this film.
Don't let the long runtime or the trappings of Bollywood deter you from watching this crowd-pleaser.
