Review of 3 Idiots (2009) by Jason W — 08 Jul 2011
Straight from Bollywood comes this tale of following your dreams in "Three Idiots." Three students at a prestigious university in India soon form a bond focused on the hatred of their director.
Further examination soon reveals that everything is not as it seems. Why are they there and for whom? Rancho is the leader; a whip smart free spirit who believes teaching should be conducted differently.
Raju and Farham are soon swayed by his views. Can he change their lives before it's too late. An interesting look at desires we exhibit and how we become what other people want us to be. It is goofy, tepidly serious and ALMOST THREE HOURS LONG! That is it's greatest downfall.
They took three hours to deliver a message that could be done in half the time. Literally. If you can run the marathon, it may not be completely worth it but it wouldn't be the worst three hours of your life.
Just try not going around say all is well afterwards.
