Review of 3 Generations (2016) by Dan U — 22 Aug 2017
Wow. I watched this film prior to reading the reviews, and I feel these are a long way off. 3 Generations breaches so many boundaries we as society struggle to discuss. A sensitive but true struggle of acceptance for so many is brought to our attention with this film.
The '"thin story'" label to me, is a conservative guise that misses the true struggle of the human development and the need for family unity in the realm of acceptance. Spot on character performances eased with a warm sense of humour.
On many levels I give this film 5 stars!
