Review of 3 Days to Kill (2014) by Ernest E — 20 Jun 2014
It's a bit of a mess but sort of in a good way. Written by Luc Besson who is clearly trying to capture the vib of Leon, but in a slightly different way. It's not really an action movie or even a father-daughter drama, which I think is what Besson was after.
But is a tangled mess filled with some odd bod characters, violent set pieces and quite a few cliches. However at it heart is Kevin Costner and I've always had a bit off a soft spot for him, and he does do grizzled, world weary, end of the road cia spy/hitman so well, that it just about makes the whole affair watchable.
If you're not Costner fan, it might not be so much fun.
