Review of 28 Weeks Later (2007) by Joeh — 16 May 2007
Overall a good movie that follows in the footsteps of the first film. They had a bigger budget this time, which led to well placed special effects which were not exuberant (my fear was that they would do the opposite).
The movie also had a compelling, scary, storyline. I can remember only a handful of scenes where I was calm and unanxious. There were a few minor flaws and one MAJOR flaw in the story line (which you will see).
Despite that, 28 Weeks Later still continues to breathe fresh air into the zombie-genre.
