28 Weeks Later is a very nice follow up to a nice little flick from 2002 by director Danny Boyle. Here, we are back to the UK after 28 Weeks Later. The infected (or meth cannibal zombies) have died from starvation, so the US invades.

Oh wow, who would have guessed it? Wait a minute, UK is not rich with oil is it? Wait what is that? Oh yeah, sorry I got a bit distracted there. Now, US army has invade UK and is starting repopulate the once empty city of London, but there is a secret that shatters everything followed by a FUBAR.

Is this another bash at imperialist US? Not exactly, I believe this flick is commenting US military failure to restore order which mirrors US action in Iraq and Afghanistan around that time. Still, 28 Weeks Later is very impressive and explores a few interesting ideas that I like watching; also, the opening scene is one of the most intensifying scenes in zombie history if you consider this a zombie flick.

I think I enjoyed this more than 28 Days Later.
