Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by Ryan H — 16 Jan 2013
It's probably unfair of me to tar this movie with the wreckage it has wrought, but it doesn't play as well for me anymore now that I know that it's responsible for the mass insurgence of zombie material that came in it's wake.
It just felt so much more original ("Nightmare City" aside) when I saw it in the theatre than in does now. Still ... it's a very solid zombie flick that even goes quite a ways towards explaining some of it's plot absurdities.
