Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by Saban E — 01 Jul 2012
I don't really get the "sharp political allegory", but it is a realistic portrayal of a infection which would turn people into a zombie like creature. I liked the characters and the plot.
It is impressive what they did with the budget - about 5 million, and the movie really picked up from mid second act to the end; if anything else, see this movie for the second half.
Plus Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow) is in it...that's cool.
