Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by Glenn W — 20 Oct 2012
The opening shots of a deserted london are spectacular, a very original take on the the zombie genre by Brit director Danny Boyle .Brendon Gleeson is brilliant in it and for an Irish actor pulls off a great cockney accent, some great edge of yout seat moments as well.
It does seem to lose it's momentum after they leave London and arrive at the roadblock. But apart from that I think it is one of the best British horror films of the last 20 years and well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
