Review of 28 Days (2000) by Patrick H — 17 Jun 2009
This movie is pretty dumb. Seriously dumb, actually. Bullock is likable as always as an alcoholic forced into rehab. Unfortunately, the film is content to follow every cliche in the book as she "learns about herself and her disease" in the typical Hollywood way.
The supporting cast is funny, but in the end it's just another star vehicle for Bullock.
