Review of 28 Days (2000) by Ilsa W — 21 Mar 2013
I really do love Sandra Bullock, seriously the woman can do no wrong for me. She is so down to earth and easy to relate to in everything that I just find her a pleasure to watch. Her character starts off incredibly annoying in this movie but by about half way through you have completely warmed to her and are totally routing for her.
A really enjoyable film, quite moving at times and altho it has a few slightly cheesy moments its an enjoyable look at life in rehab. Bullock is great, Mortensen and Buscemi are good, but rather underused.
The cast generally are excellent and Alan Tudyk is particlarly hilarious. A very pleasant surprise as to be honest I hadn't heard of this movie before I saw it on Netflix. Glad I did!
