Review of 27 Dresses (2008) by Vanessa L — 01 May 2010
I loved 27 Dresses! I found it witty, cringe worthy (yes there were moments when I had my head in my hands) sad and poignant. I feel that Katherine Heigl did a fabulous job playing Jane the typical "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" character.
It made me wonder about whether brides choose their bridesmaids so that they can lean heavily on them, make them run around in circles, and then put them in a completely hideous dress on the wedding day!
The two parts I loved in the movie were when Jane tries on all the dresses for Kevin, and then at the end when all the former brides wear their bridesmaids dress to the wedding.
