Review of 27 Dresses (2008) by Caiti S — 23 Jun 2010
27 Dresses follows the old saying "always a bridesmaid, never a bride." Katherine Heigl basically plays a characters that can't say no, which at times was so frusterating! The overall story was interesting enough but near the middle, it got terribly predicatable.
But isn't that what a rom-com is supposed to be? I loved the idea of seeing all the bridesmaid's dresses and the various stories behind them (my favourite being the theme wedding!) The characters was very blah and boring, and I almost wished that the story had delved more into James Marsden's character's past.
All and all, it was a cute movie to watch on a rainy day.
