Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Patrick B — 22 Aug 2008
This is one of Spike Lee's best movies, and one of the best movies of the decade, 25th Hour was the first major film to effectively deal with the aftermath of 9/11 as one of its themes. Edward Norton is brilliant in front of a great cast of character actors like Barry Pepper, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Brian Cox.
Anna Paquin and Rosario Dawson also give stand out performances. An underrated masterwork that deserves more attention.
