Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Pavandeep S — 13 Mar 2009
I like the fact that no director out there can hurl ethnic slurs as well as Spike Lee. The whole monologue with Edward Norton just dissing everyone was one of the best scenes in this film. It just got me going, especially hearing Norton say it.
I have watched few of Lee's films but I enjoyed this tremendously, the story of redemption and of a man fallen into hard times, with a messed up interpretation of right and wrong by the world is fantastically portrayed especially by the layers of varying characters and their emotional struggle matches too.
