Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Holly B — 23 Apr 2009
I enjoyed this film despite it not necessarily resolving the plotlines of many of the characters. Maybe it's because all of these characters were just inherently interesting and kept my attention for the length of the film, or maybe the premise of a man with an inevitable deadline that will separate him from his family and friends is something I could relate to (on a much much less serious level than a prison sentence) in light of my impending graduation.
Whatever the case, I would recommend it. The exploration of survival's guilt alongside 9/11 imagery worked well together too.
