Powerful drama by the always brilliant Spike Lee and starring the great edward Norton. It's a unique film in that plot is based around a drug dealer without ever showing the dead, instead it focuses entirely on the aftermath. Edward Norton plays the convicted dealer who has 25 hours left of freedom before he must go to jail and serve his term. He spends the ensuing 25 hours trying to sort out his life and get some sort of redemption before serving his time.

It's a powerful film, once scene particular has Norton saying a Monologue in front of a mirrir about the state of New York and life that is areally great scene. The script is excellent, as is the great cast including Brian Cox and the underrated Barry Pepper. The pace can be a little slow at times but it's very much a thinking persons drama with many subtle messages throughout. The ending is perfect and will leave you with a slight happy feeling.

Really an excellent film that should be seen by all.
