Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Evan S — 29 Jul 2012
The movie is intelligent, intense, and greatly written. With a cast and crew like that it couldn't fail. Spike Lee gave his best in introducing us to the modern American society through the life of a small drug dealer Monty Brogan. Edward Norton along with Barry Pepper and Philip Seymour Hoffman make the dream team of this movie. The movie is focusing on the last 24 hours of the life of Monty before he goes to jail. It talks about the friendship of the 3 men, the romance between Monty and a beautiful Portorican Naturelle, his relationship with his father and the betrayal of a close friend.
A great movie that won't let anyone indifferent.
