Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Samuel J — 02 Nov 2012
One of my all time favorite films. This film goes beyond your typical plot with character development. It focuses on humanity, the choices we make and the consequences of our actions. Perception is crucial and in life there is no right and wrong just the paths we choose to walk down.
The scene in which Monty speaks to himself in the mirror is a reflection of our times and a moment that all people go through we don't want to admit. Everyone at some point of their life has a hit a low point and thought horrible unspeakable things that they would never omit to thinking or feeling.
