Review of 24 Hour Party People (2002) by Adam L — 31 Oct 2007

So I gave this a second viewing and I must say I enjoyed it very much. I only know some of the music from the real life bands including some of New Orders work but I didn't feel like I could appreciate the whole of the film without doing some research so I recommend that people do a bit of research on the reallife characters in the film.

Back to the film. Steve Coogan is quirky, funny, fragile and great character. The movie is shot on video to give it a kind of mockumentary feel which is cool because it's set mostly in the 70's.
