Review of 24 Hour Party People (2002) by Litwit E — 04 Jun 2010
A Documentary type film based on the man that brought the Manchester music scene to the forefront of the music industry, Tony Wilson. Tony Wilson was responsible for the likes of Joy Division, New Order and The Happy Mondays, He was also the owner of the club the Hacienda.
With Steve Coogan taking the lead you get exactly what you would expect from this film. Comedy, Sex, Drugs and rock n' roll (albeit a very tame nature). Great soundtrack, Interesting story and good acting makes this a must for all you music lovers out there.
