Extremely reminiscent of Van Sant's Elephant, the comparisons between the two films Thalluri inevitably sets up make 2:37 the lesser film by quite some length. The graphic suicide is foreshadowed in the beginning, and so I found myself playing a guessing game: who would end up dead? rather than engaging with any characters or themes.
A dissapointment, but not without its positive aspects.
