Review of 2:37 (2006) by Vaz L — 12 Jul 2010
The subject matter present in "2:37" has been covered elsewhere, and with greater success. ("Polytechnique" and Gus van Sant's "Elephant" come immediately to mind.) The added "Rashomon"-esque way of showing us what each student's day entailed, and how they all came to be where they were at the time in the title, gives it a bit of uniqueness, but aside from that, it is, unfortunately, not a terribly memorable film.
