Very melodramatic movie about the nerd who becomes the cool guy and ultimately gets the girl out of his league. A script that gives Laurence Fishburne very little to do and that allows two time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey another chance to perform poorly.
The characters never truly seem threatened, and Kate Bosworth gives another average performance...
