Review of 20th Century Women (2016) by Ben H — 15 Jan 2017
Heart-warming movie with a positive message about feminism and the need for boys to have good male role models. "If life gives you oranges, you gotta make lemonade." And so, the boy must make his way in life after his mom sets him up with two very different female figures:
One an artsy-fartsy kind of photographer/ artist-type and the Other, Julie, who is totally wrong for him, even though he falls head once heels in love...all-in-all, they all learn to live and love and each one is a little wiser for knowing the other. While they are all wrong for each other, they all learn something in the end.
