It's difficult to explain what makes Wong kar Wai's movies so compelling. This may not be his best but it still has that ethereal pop sensibility and as ever beautifully shot.you could probably watch it without understanding the dialog and it would still be a pleasure, but you'd miss out on his surreal perception of relationships and time.
Tony Leung is the best at what he does; acting. it's a shame we don't get to see more of the beautiful maggie chung but Zhang Ziyi isn't a bad alternative; probably her best, sexiest performance to date.Must watch!
