Simply amazing. Not perfect, and towards the end it starts to lag, but such criticism is made up for by the attributes. Ever since I�´ve seen it for the first time, I have never forgotten certain scenes that stand out through their unique beauty and simplicity.
I have yet to see another film, which can be as mesmerizing as this one. Great acting, great scenery and soundtrack. A masterpiece, which is my personal WKW favourite. Those familiar with Wong's earlier works will notice his signatures throughout: quick cutting, slow motion, freeze frames, black and white, tilt shots, color filters, neon-sign lighting.
