Review of 2046 (2004) by Adam S — 01 Jul 2009
This film follows the love life of a writer who apparently includes a lot of biographical detail in a sci-fi story (the titular "2046") that we never see more than a couple of minutes of. Like his very similar "In the Mood for Love" the obsession with lush music and visuals can't overcome, what in "2046" in particular is, a weak overriding concept.
