Review of 2010 (1984) by Waldo I — 05 Aug 2007

Though the story takes a more traditional path than its predecessor, 2010 is still in enough fashion to be considered a decent sequel. The plot is interesting enough, there's still a weird factor, and they brought back HAL.

However, everything is dated, from the flashing button technology to the cold war plot. Although I admit I probably don't fully understand the significance behind both films, I feel this one was less visually poetic, and had much less of a wow factor.
